Buying a bar you’ll keep for decades shouldn’t feel like buying a kit. Here’s how a Timber Taverns bar comes together. No pressure, no sales patter, just a straight path from your idea to your back garden.

Build your spec, or just get in touch
Use the Build yours page to choose timber thickness, dimensions and finish. Or skip it and send us a rough idea, a photo of the spot, and what you’re picturing. Either works.

Your Design Consultation
We don’t do sales calls. We do a 20-minute Design Consultation: timber grain, finishes, layout, and how it’ll sit in your space. You come away with a detailed quote and a design sketch to approve. No obligation.

We build it
Once you’re happy, work starts. Every bar is hand-built in our Irish workshop from construction-grade spruce, with the finish worked in as we go. Hand-made takes the time it takes.
4 to 6 weeks

Delivery and build on site
We take your bar down, bring it to you, and put it back together in your garden. Nothing to assemble, no instructions to follow.
Workshop to garden
Built twice. Once in the workshop, once in your garden.
Every bar is built in full in our workshop first. Then we take it down, bring it to you, and build it again on site. You don’t lift a finger.
